Let’s just keep this one between you and me, okay?

While I was out scouring the net tonight, searching for the latest hybrid news and any tidbit of information pertaining to hybrid suv’s, I came across a forum post that mentioned a “no purchase necessary to win, $25,000 Toyota Prius Giveaway” at BHG.com.  And while I realize a Prius is not an SUV, I decided to take a look.

When I got to BHG (Better Homes and Gardens), I found a link titled “Sweepstakes” in the fine print, toward the bottom of the home page.  This link took me to the page where you can register for a chance to win a 2007 Toyota Prius (hybrid) valued at $25,000.  I later noticed that BHG was rotating the following banner ad on their site as well. 

Upon reading the official rules, I noticed that this giveaway is void outside the United States, and that you have to be at least 21 to enter.  Lots of other rules and regulations, so I’ll let you review those…but basically the contest runs from September 1, 2007 through October 31, 2007 and there is no purchase necessary to enter.

So, what’s the catch you ask?  Well, you have to register on the site and then sign up for the giveaway.  That’s it as far as I can tell.  So…here’s the link I used to get started, and remember - don’t tell anyone else (which should increase our chances of winning…right?).  Good luck, and write me if you win!
