We are now just a couple of weeks away from Earth Day, 2010 (April 22nd) and already we’re seeing green advertisements to celebrate the 40th anniversary. For the past three years, we’ve searched the web to find hybrid car sweepstakes and giveaways - and this year we’ve found several worth your attention.

The Sprint “Go Green” Sweepstakes: How badly would you like to win a free 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid SUV? Well, you have until 06/30/2010 to enter for a chance to win. There are 3 different ways to enter this sweepstakes (rules here) but if you are not a Sprint customer you’ll want to use this one. On or about July 15, 2010 the sponsor will randomly draw 51 potential winners and attempt to reach them. 50 people will win a green kit (mobile phone, case, charger, battery, etc.) and one really lucky person will be awarded with the hybrid Escape valued up to $35,000.

The Target “Drive Home Green” Sweepstakes: This is another giveaway that doesn’t require any purchase to enter or win. One unique feature is that you can enter by sending the text message GREEN (why didn’t Sprint think of that?) to short code “TARGET” (827438). Official rules are here and you have until April 30, 2010 to enter. There are over 5,000 prizes you can win with the grand prize being a 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid valued at $33,000.

Purina and Pet Supplies Plus “Hybrid Giveaway Sweepstakes”: Okay, this one is a little more tricky - but it might still be worth your effort. The entry form is here, but you’ve got to jump through a couple of hoops by entering a UPC code and the store location where you got it. To avoid wasting your time, I’d recommend you start by reviewing the official rules here. The grand prize is a 2010 Ford Escape hybrid with an approximate retail value of $29,860. You can enter once per day up until May 31, 2010 so take a peek.

Service Experts “Go Green Giveaway Sweepstakes”: One fortunate person will win a 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid car valued at $25,000 in this sweep stakes. This is to promote Service Experts ”hybrid home comfort system”. All the rules can be read at this location but to enter, you will need to visit SEGoGreen.com between April 1st and June 30th of 2010 and answer a few questions. Even if you don’t win the hybrid, SE is also giving away a Lennox heating and cooling system plus installation - a $14,000 value.
