Hybrid SUV PhotosWhile HybridSUV.com is striving to become a destination where people can learn about all hybrid suvs, we’ve got some catching up to do before we can compete with the best hybrid suv consumer guides and resources.  In my opinion, the top hybrid suv website in 2007 is HybridCars.com.  When I first became interested in more fuel efficient, environmentally friendly autos - I found this site to be very informative in terms of which hybrids were available now, new vehicles, and upcoming models.

According to the HybridCars.com website, Bradley Berman is their editor and primary author, while Dr. Reid Heffner contributes to research, writing, and is the Director of Market Analysis.  Together, they do a great job of reporting on the hybrid auto industry.  If you are considering a hybrid, I highly recommend their buying guide section.

Another great reference for hybrid enthusiasts is GreenHybrid.com.  If you prefer to learn and interact via a forum type environment, this has got to be one of the biggest hybrid suv and car forums online.  The founder of GreenHybrid.com is Jason Siegel, who created the site after receiving a Toyota Prius as a gift from his parents in 2003.  Internet Brands (think CarsDirect.com and Autos.com) acquired this site in 2006.

A couple of other sites where you can compare hybrid suv’s, learn about hybrid tax credits, read about hybrid history, etc. include:

FuelEconomy.gov
HybridCenter.org

If you know of any other sites we should add to our list of the best hybrid suv consumer guides, please add a comment and description here.
