Now for Something Completely Different: 2011 Lexus CT Hybrid
Most hybrid auto and SUV manufacturers offer several lines all based on small variations of the same model. The 2011 Lexus CT Hybrid breaks with that tradition. It is completely different from any other Toyota or Lexus model. Specifically, the crossover offers a unique four-door, five-passenger hatchback design.
Body design aside, the Lexus CT Hybrid does leverage technology used in other Toyota hybrids. In particular, the hatchback has the same drive train as the Prius. That includes a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder, DOHC, Atkinson Cycle gas engine and an electric motor. The gas engine offers 98 hp and the electric motor can deliver 80 hp.
